Full-Client: this one is for a complete installation from scratch or if you havent got NavyField installed
Manual patch: This is to get the previous version of the NavyField client to the current version.

Q: What do you need for using this way of getting the client?

Download the client of your choice, install it, run it and then click on the link above and download the .torrent file. Either open it directly from your webbrowser or download it and open the file with you torrent-client. Start the download and share the data with all others.

Q: Why should I use this method and not the official download?
A: The file is the same, so that isnt the reason, also you dont have any benefit like earning money or similar. The advantage is, that the file is distributed directly between all participants (leecher and seeders) which results in a faster download. It might not be for the first who is using the torrent, but with every additional who joins, it gets faster and faster.

Q: I heard that torrents are bad, cause I can get in jail for it, is this true?
A: No it isnt. Torrents itself arent bad, they are a valid way and optimized way of sharing bits and bytes. What the bits and bytes include might be bad (stolen software, illegal sharing of music, trojans, virus, malware, spyware, ..). What this torrent is, its a taken from a direct download of the official navyfield client and a torrent is made of it. A torrent file contains only hash data, so that everyone is sure that it is exactly this file and not any other changed file, and made public via a torrent tracker. The torrent tracker distributes the connection information between the leechers and seeders.
